Commissioning and Qualification

Commissioning and qualification (C&Q) verifies that finished projects meet statutory requirements, match all designs and documentation, and function as intended. C&Q can be a lengthy and complex process, involving a substantial amount of documentation, so it requires expert planning, teamwork and clear communication.

At PEMCAS, we consider C&Q from the start of every project, ensuring that qualifying professionals can carry out site acceptance testing (SAT) without any issues.

We offer C&Q services as part of our full-cycle engineering and project management services, and also as standalone solutions, including:

• Consultancy – including strategy planning and development of alternate approaches, such as risk-based approaches. 

• Project management of C&Q projects – whether this is a new build or a performance evaluation, we are experts in this type of project management.

• Generation of test protocols – we have an extensive library of relevant and adaptable documentation.

• FAT – we can liaise with equipment manufacturers, supply drawings and other necessary documentation and conduct any verifications to ensure FAT goes smoothly.

• Troubleshooting – work closely with technicians and other stakeholders to identify and resolve any issues or deviations encountered during C&Q.

• Compliance – ensure that C&Q activities adhere to relevant regulations, standards and guidelines including good manufacturing practices (GMP) and good laboratory practices (GLP).

• Documentation – maintain accurate C&Q documentation.

• Training and handover – provide training to end users and operational staff.
