John is a process and mechanical design engineer who provides detailed process, mechanical and electrical design for distilling, life science, and food manufacturing facilities. John focuses on cleanroom and data centre design, using advanced BIM modelling techniques to produce clash detection reports and 3D collision modelling. He has conceptualised and managed brownfield and greenfield sites for numerous food and beverage manufacturing facilities in Ireland and abroad.

John has over 10 years of experience in mechanical and process design, as well as greenfield build management to final completion and handover. As a process engineer, his focus is on designing fully integrated facilities that support good manufacturing practices and are ATEX directive compliant. John’s capabilities include mission critical cooling design, distillery process design, food manufacturing process design, cleanroom HVAC design and BIM management processes. His designs have led to (Key Buzzword), world-class facilities that not only meet all necessary FDA and EU facility licensure requirements but can also be maintained and operated efficiently and safely.

I joined the company in 2012 after working on a team that successfully delivered Intel’s 14nnm, award-winning Fab 24 for one of the semiconductor foundries based in Ireland. That was a great experience as the industry requires extreme precision and the margin for error is non-existent. I am committed to deliver lean, sustainable, and futureproof designs that meet LEED and BREEAM certification. I enjoy bringing cross industry experience and applying techniques to new situations.
